I’ve used most of these tools over the years while running a content & design agency, and I’ve got some thoughts that might help other small business owners here.
SignNow is solid for integrations. We used it briefly because of how well it plays with GDrive and Office 365 and the templates saved time. But once we scaled past a few users, the $20–$30/user/month pricing became steep for something we only used occasionally.
DocuSign is the OG. We had clients who demanded we use it because of its compliance and audit trails. It’s overkill for most small agencies, though. We weren’t dealing with enterprise-level security needs, and $25–$60 per user per month felt excessive for what we actually used it for sending out 10–15 contracts a month max. Really bad ROI.
Signeasy was a nice discovery during a travel-heavy phase of agency work. Super mobile-friendly, great UI on iOS and Android, and perfect for when I needed to sign or get a signature while commuting or between meetings. But again, the pricing felt better suited for people doing lots of fieldwork or remote contract ops, not great for someone whose use is bursty or irregular.
Recently, I came across a newer tool called SignWith, and honestly it’s the first one that actually makes sense for my kind of usage. It’s built around pay-per-document pricing instead of a monthly subscription. That alone is a game-changer. So now we're signing documents that costs us like 50 cents a. pop and monthly headon of a subscription.
TL;DR: All three tools mentioned are great in their own right, especially if your needs are high volume or compliance-heavy. But if you're a small shop or solo founder who values simplicity and cost-efficiency, definitely check out SignWith.
Hope that helps someone here who’s trying to make the right call for their workflow!
