I really appreciate your efforts bro ๐
Wow! Thank you so much. Am a student taking BBA in finance and am now doing my research on effects of financial risk management on the financial performance of insurance companies and this is a bery useful information.
How can I design a financial risk management platform that includes components of market risk management, credit risk and liquidity risk for the oil and petrochemical industry? Is it feasible? Can it be done with Python?" Thanks…
Hi Ryan…How can I access Excel files for practice examples?
thank you!
Hi Ryan what are the pre-requisite requirement before watching this course. I mean basic knowledge requirement.
Thank you so much. I am studying industrial engineering, and this was helpful.
Do you suggest any interesting project topic for a bachelor student?
Great
I am starting in this work later in life, so your information is very useful
which exam is harder? cfa or frm?
Hi Ryan ….i have bachelor's degree in risk management and insurance.l would like to do both CFA and FRM…please advise
Thank you!
Firstly I am so glad for finding this video and hello Ryan I am an undergrad in commerce but I have always wanted to work in a risk management role, luckily enough as soon as I finished college I started working in one of the biggest MNC's in a risk management role. Now I want to study a masters course in UK in risk management, since that is a masters course and FRM is a professional certification(which I have wanted to do since college), is there a major difference in either from a job perspective or do I still need to do FRM after doing masters in FRM from a professional viewpoint?
Well, I have an interview tomorrow for a Big 4 in a quant risk position as a soon-to-be graduated student, and this was perfect for me to establish a plan of preparation !
Do you think long term that risk management will experience more growth as an industry/career? Feels like Covid, Russia/Ukraine, broken supply chains, etc. have shown how important risk management is today for business continuity
Great Video Ryan. Keep Posting such more Videos ๐
3:45 Ryan, which reading on the CFA can I quote to my resume, that's related to Financial Risk management? Currently trying to apply for FRM jobs with CFA.
Really helpful ๐
Thanks for this excellent entree into FRM – well done!
If you have a background in medicine but you are actually passionate about finance, would getting certification in FRM be a good way to start switching careers?
What are the all risks affecting the financial system??
Thanks for the aweome video, explained very well!!
Thanks for wonderful informative video brother. Requesting an answer. I am working in Oman working as an inventory-purchase admin and earning 10 lacs per year . I have done master of commerce 5 years back . If I do frm now will I be getting a job in Canada or UK as a fresher or do I have to get 2 years of experience as a trainee ?
Hi Ryan,
How doesย financial risk management field compare to fixed income field?
Hey Ryan, thanks for the info! I have a question: Is the degree in finance really important in terms of having a good knowledge or being good in risk management? I feel like a lot of the things are outdated (depends on the school) and you can learn so much and faster yourself thanks to the internet.
Also, without a degree, do you think it is worth it to go for FRM and/or CFA anyway?
