  1. I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Martha

  2. I paid off my big debt one week ago I miscalculated. Now i am debt free but ill be eating sandwiches for the rest of the week. 😱 😢 😂 oh lawd im scared too cause everything happened in this little time. I even had people asking me for money like wth really. I have never been so scared in life like right now. But i am hoping to raise up after this weeks. 🙏😊 🙃

  3. I did not get to save for my kids college on time. I had 4K saved for my 18 year old and tried to explain to her the importance of community college and stay close to home to save on room and board but without success. She wants to go away from
Home even through it is in state. She’s an adult and I can’t convince her to give up the college experience and how bad student loans are.
I wonder if anyone else has experienced that 😢.

  4. This was so helpful for me as I have no financial literacy at all. I don’t even have a savings account. I’m on Social Security Disability so I get paid monthly. Don’t have any thing to sell but I’m looking for a part time work from home job. Any advice on saving?

  5. Your arrogant in thinking your analogy has anything to do with winning and beating the CC companies. Lets play the Claw Game or get a free ride on Jet Blue. Weather its your game selling a book or stream or a CC company selling their goods. Never use your money to buy what you can with someone else's Money! Stunade' Some of your Baby Steps are good but I was a baby 55 years ago. I walk and invest like a Man! I have ben 100% debt free for 5 years. Who else is eating this baby food???

  6. Need advice: I’m 30 partner is 32. I make between 80-120k, she makes 60k. We have about 26k debt combined.

i have about 200k in savings. Should we wipe out the debt in one go or continue to just make the repayments?

  7. Using a credit card to pay for stuff you were going to buy or have to buy and never carrying a balance is smart. Period. Your advice ONLY applies to undisciplined people. You NEED to state that and STOP with the blanket rhetoric.

  8. I needed a new roof and I found out the roof needed all the wood under the shingles replaced too. It cost a fortune but luckily I had a large emergency fund saved up. I’m now 62, retired, house paid off, debt free, 1.2,million in stocks, and 32 acres of land. There was a time in the 80’s I lived on rice & beans.

  9. I know about a lady that her husband left her and she used the credit card points to survive. She talked to people she knows and told them, “if you are buying something cash, give me the cash and I’ll pay with my credit card,” so, I’m not sure I align with Ramsey’s take on credit card points.

  10. I recently turned 22. So far, I've been living way above my means, and I'm tired of all the anxiety and distress my current financial situation is causing. I found about this show today and am hoping to make substantial gains over the years that follow. Wish me luck!

  11. Hey! Love your show. I'm 5 6. Me and the girl broke up 22 years. I had my own house and I have 401k and a Roth but I'm $5,000 in debt and credit card. I live check to check what do I do?

  12. The thing with the credit cards is not the same thing as gambling-because you aren’t spending the money to get the sticky hands. You-and I mean you personally, Dave-are definitely already spending the money. If you use the card to buy the things you already are and must buy already. The cash back bonuses and percentage off of the things you buy work on groceries and gas. Nobody said they were trying to become millionaires doing it. Using credit cards this way can and does work. We don’t use them to go on vacations, but dozens of people I know use them to benefit by charging things that they are already needing to buy. I know you think I’m an arrogant fool (because you just told me you did, while mocking everyone), but you’re wrong. It makes me not recommend you to people because you are so rude and unkind-as well as arrogant. Wrong is not why, although you are, because everyone is wrong about some things. Your argument doesn’t even address the issue. Do people who are millionaires say using credit cards is how they got money? Doesn’t really mean millions say it doesn’t help or work, even. Not having any credit keeps people from renting a car and buying a house. Exactly who damage do you claim is done to this person who wrote in saying they use the credit cards and pay off the balance every month, never carrying a balance or paying any interest? Because you never said-you just dodged the question, made stuff up to mock them, and were being a condescending drama queen. BTW, being condescending is about the most unchristian thing a person can do. If you care about people you don’t talk down to them-even when you are giving them hard truths and being blunt.

  13. I’m just going to be funny about “the bass boat”: Mr. Dave made it clear the emergency fund is not “for the bass boat”. The first thing that popped into my mind was, “the bass boat could be a weekend transitional fund item”!! I don’t even like boats, but I do love log cabins in the mountains as a “transitional fund item”!! 😂

  14. Dave , can you please explain where is the best city in America you could buy a single family homes because Ca is so expensive! Happy New Year to you & your family !❤😊
