I have been trying to get my pc to do this. Win+H opens the little window for it, but it will not pick up my microphone. Microphone is connected, set as the default mic, permissions are enabled for apps to use the microphone, etc. The microphone IS WORKING, as I can record with it, and do calls. No idea what to do.

thank you, its quite slow on my windows 10 machine, it cannot be due to low spec computer, what could the issue be? I tried to say "the kevin cooking company etc" and it takes a lot longer to show up than on your computer

Your Windows 11 Microsoft 365 does not look like mine, so I can't find how to turn on voice typing.
I used Dragon Naturally Speaking for years, but my new laptop had this feature so I have been using it the last few months. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any way to train Voice Typing for my voice. For instance, if refer to local place names a lot, and it misinterprets many of them. So I'm stuck making the same corrections over and over.

For some reason in classic Microsoft style it does not work properly anymore. It misses the first couple of words of every sentence. After every period it misses a couple of words. 🤬😈😈🤬🤬🤬
