I use class numbers for different departments so the expense or the income goes to the right entity It's around 21 departments and they are numbered. 100 crops 150 hogs, 200 beef, 250 Dairy etc. I used Quickbooks desktop and a week ago switched to QBO and I want to check Xero out. We also use CAD and USD multiple currancy.
So which one would be better for a healthcare business? Clinic or Center.

My bookkerper is a former datascientist he convinced me that doing all in free open source stack of jupyter, pandas, matplotlib, dash, sql database is better and more efficient. I am not an expert in all of this but he does the job well. I just want a critical view what we missing not using quickbooks?

Everything currently run through Shopify so needs to work well with that.
